In the program entitled “Performance – Interpretation of Traditional Music” with specialization in the santouri, our aim is to study various techniques of the instrument, to emphasize the accompaniment and the transporto as well as to discover repertoire from all over Greece.
In the two-hour weekly course we will study our traditional scales, free and rhythmic taqasim, tuning, historical and technical characteristics of the transporto instrument and accompaniment.
Our goal is to finish the program and have an expanded repertoire (solo and accompaniment) and the acquisition of personal sound.
