Oύτι

Στο μάθημα του ουτιού θα διδαχθούν βασικές τεχνικές του οργάνου μέσα από κατάλληλες ασκήσεις, υφολογική προσέγγιση τραγουδιών όπως και συγκεκριμένος ήχος σύμφωνα με τις τοπικές παραδόσεις στις οποίες συναντάται. Ακόμα θα διδαχθεί βασικό αλλά και πιο εναλλακτικό ρεπερτόριο του οργάνου. Τέλος, θα δοθεί ιδιαίτερη σημασία στον ρόλο που διαθέτει το ούτι μέσα σε μεγάλες αλλά και μικρότερες ορχήστρες τόσο ως σολιστικό όργανο όσο και ως όργανο συνοδείας άλλων οργάνων. Παράλληλα με όλα τα παραπάνω, θα υπάρξει και αναλυτική περιγραφή-διδασκαλία ελεύθερου αλλά και ρυθμικού αυτοσχεδιασμού δίνοντας ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στην ανάλυση των αυτοσχεδιασμών σπουδαίων ουτιστών του παρελθόντος.

In the lesson of the oud you will be taught basic techniques of the instrument through appropriate exercises, stylistic approach to songs as well as a specific sound according to the local traditions in which it is found. You will also be taught basic and more alternative repertoire of the instrument. Finally, particular attention will be paid to the role of the oud in large and smaller orchestras, both as a solo instrument and as an instrument accompanying other instruments. Along with all the above, there will be a detailed description-teaching of free and rhythmic improvisation with special emphasis on the analysis of the improvisations of great oudists of the past.
